As software developers explore and customize ubiquitous ERPs like Workday, as well as content management systems which are designed to output the same content in multiple forms, (such as PDFs and web pages) they will find that these systems rely heavily on Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformation (XSLT) technology for such endeavors. While a developer can […] The post Using Saxon for On-Demand XSL Transformations appeared first on Developer.com.
Are you running a business and have too many things going on at once? Meetings, bugs, customer feedback, new clients in addition to your already tight deadlines? Let's face it, time management is hard, and it becomes even more difficult in the trying times we are in.
For centuries, artistic expression has been a graphic and visual way for humans to express ideas. Art came before language did, and has evolved every year since humans have existed. Graphic designing is the modern version of art. In modern times, where everyone tells their story online and through digital means, graphic design is a […] The post 8 Free Downloads For Broke Graphic Designers appeared first on Line25.
'Time is money,' as the old saying goes. In our fast-moving world, it underlies the majority of successful stories. The favorable outcome of any business mainly depends on how good you can master this parameter. You should always be on top of your things. Not only have you to meet all the deadlines but you...
As logo and brand designers, our work starts long before the first concept sketches, and finishes long after the last perfectly placed pixel. Our work requires so much more than just creative ideas and technical skills -- it compels us to be a marketer, strategist, psychologist, salesperson, showman and project manager at the same time. WP Staging is one of the most interesting WordPress plugins I tested recently. With just a few clicks, you can create an exact clone of an entire website. You need a developer page to test plugins and themes? You want to create a new design for your website? Then, this plugin is the one for you. A pure developer page is useful for many different purposes. One of the most intelligent application areas is testing updates, whether it be theme or plugin updates. An update doesn’t always end up well. Unfortunately, I can tell you a thing or two about that. Sometimes, a simple update makes your website crock and nothing works anymore. Unlikely? That’s what I thought as well. Until it happened to me. After a bit of research, I found the WP Staging Plugin and immediately tested it. It’s a true sleeper, at least for websites that don’t have the size of Noupe yet. We’d still have to test how simple and fast the process is for really large websites.
