The Amazon AWS blog has posted a tutorial helping you get started using Amazon CloudWatch logging from PHP. CloudWatch is a logging service offered by Amazon that comes with features making it easier to track metrics, set alarms and monitor log files. Logging and information debugging can be approached from a multitude of different angles. Whether you use an application framework or coding from scratch it's always comforting to have familiar components and tools across different projects. In our examples today, I am going to enable Amazon CloudWatch Logs logging with a PHP application. To accomplish this, I wanted to use an existing solution that is both already popular and well used, and that is standards compliant. For these reasons, we are going to use the open source log library, PHP Monolog. They start the tutorial with a brief overview of both Monolog and the CloudWatch logging service. From there they help you get the AWS PHP SDK and Monolog installed and an add-on that lets Monolog talk to CouldWatch. The post then provides some example code showing how to set up the PHP-to-CloudWatch connection and what the logging result looks like. They also include instructions on setting up logging filters/metrics and, as a bonus, how to use CloudWatch logging in a Laravel application.

Developing websites and apps for your business takes time. Don't waste precious time relying only on developing alpha, beta, and final release models. There are more than 3 stages when developing a website or app. Prototyping is the blueprint stage of creating a product when designers go from laying the foundation for the design to creating a lifelike replica of how the website or app should work. When prototyping, there are many stages, such as creating the user journey, creating basic sketch outlines, and creating the prototype app with real animations and interactions. Using prototyping is faster than developing because of basic concepts such as drag and drop that help product teams quickly develop a webpage from scratch. Below are five ways prototyping helps a product team and the overall product be more impactful on the targeted audience.

React Hooks are a new addition in React 16.8 that let you use state and other React features without writing a class component. In other words, Hooks are functions that let you "hook into" React state and lifecycle features from function components. (They do not work inside class components.) React provides a few built-in Hooks like useState. You can also create your own Hooks to reuse stateful behavior between different components.

If you're working on a monogram design, this collection of monogram fonts and typography is a helpful starting point! When you set up an e-commerce store, you often expect that it'll turn out to be the most profitable venture of your life.
